Plank Top and Breadboard Tables

Plank top tables have the grain running the “long way” often with a bread board end cap to hide the end grains. These tables expand in two different directions and often show expansion at the breadboard. This design compensates for this expansion by making an oval cut below the planks, allowing the wood to move.

Plank top tables often are thicker wood, often with saw marks left on the boards for character. Amishshowroom offers many styles of planks and breadboard designs.
