Welcome to Amishshowroom's Shipping info page. Listed below are the different options we offer our clients. In order to keep the prices down for all customers we allow you to choose the level of shipping you need. We have contracts with various shipping contractors, including our own in house shipping company, that allow us to get Amish furniture to your door with ease.
Listed below are the 5 different options available. We start with the most basic "Dock to Dock" delivery, then "curbside" delivery, then curbside with a lift-gate, and end with the "full service" in home setup and delivery service. Choose the one that suits your needs and budget. Please ask if you have any questions.
#1 - Dock to Dock Delivery: See the bottom of this page for ALL of our contract storage dock locations across the USA. (These location's are not furniture stores)
This is the most cost effective delivery, short of pickup at the store. We crate your items, as listed below, and ship them from our dock to one of the listed contract docks across the USA. You pick up your furniture at the dock closest to your town. This allows you the flexibility to pick up on your time schedule and leave the crating material at the shipping dock.
#2 - Curbside Delivery:
The trucking company will use a 28' or 48' tractor trailer unit for delivery. The delivery will be made with one driver and no lift-gate. We can add the lift-gate option for an extra $40 fee. You must request this when ordering. The customer must help unload the truck, so have help available.
The driver will not help you carry the furniture away from the truck. Remember, you should open the box on the truck and hand down the furniture piece by piece. This will insure you inspected for damage and confirm that is what you ordered. This will lower the weight and make the process easy. We will not send any products that need major assembly. If you have any concerns we can show you photographs or explain what it will look like upon delivery.
Product damage is rare; however, if damage is found the customer must note the damage in the appropriate box on the Delivery Receipt. WE will have any damaged items returned, at no cost to you, and repaired.
#3 - Curbside Delivery with a Lift-Gate:
This is the same service as listed above, except we will request a truck with a lift-gate. This is basically a mini lift on the back of the truck that will lower the crate to street level.

When furniture is shipped to a customer for inside delivery with set-up, a specialty carrier will perform the delivery to the customer's home with two men. The carrier will deliver the furniture in a 45' or 48' tractor trailer unit.
The company will deliver, setup and place your furniture in the room. This service costs extra and you will need to e-mail or call for prices. We will get you an exact quote if requested. They will haul away any packaging materials from your home and put any items together.

Packaging Method
A custom box made from 275 pound test, double wall cardboard sheeting covers the furniture piece. After boxing, large furniture pieces are strapped to pallets for easy transferring by the carrier.
The furniture is “foamed in place” and will withstand all the shaking caused from the truck ride to your home.

We have Contracts with shipping dock's across the USA. We can crate and ship Amish furniture to a dock of your choice (as listed below). This is the lowest cost shipping option we offer, next to pickup at our Nelson, WI or Coates, MN location.
Your furniture will arrive at the shipping dock of your choice. You uncrate the furniture at the dock and load on your vehicle. Leave the packing material and crate at the loading dock and we will dispose of the items.
