We do this by building and staining the piece the way you want it. This saves us the costs of having large storage buildings and excess furniture waiting for a new home. We place the order with our small Amish woodworking shop and they build it. We then stain it to order and ship it directly to your home. This process takes from 4 to 12 weeks depending on the item.
#1 Shipping costs: We have made it simple! ALL ORDERS OVER $1500.00 Call for SHIPPING. Most of the shipping prices are calculated when you "checkout" from the shopping cart. Please check our shipping page for details. #2 Unloading the truck: “Don’t fear the truck”. Nearly everyone reading this has moved at least once in their life. You don’t have to unload the entire box at one time! When the truck arrives just cut open the box and unload each item one at a time! Remove the drawers, etc. This will lower the weight of the piece and will assure you of no damage. We also have a lift gate service (must request the service) It only takes a few minutes to unload. Most items are “broken down” and easy to move. #3 Stain Choices: We understand you want to look at a piece of wood before making a choice. After your purchase, we forward out stain samples for your review. Need to match existing furniture in your home? Just send us a scrap (or a piece to get a sample from). We will match it for you and return the piece if needed. You can go to Sherwin Williams paint stores and they will stain match for you. You can then call us with the stain number and we will buy it local and your pieces.
