We think this approach is dishonest and AmishShowroom will not build wholsale or retail amish furniture using these tactics. Solid harwood sideboards are very popular these days. A sideboard or solid wood server is often used in a dining room situation where some storage and a place to "serve" food is needed. At Amishshowroom we use Conversion Varnish as the topcoat. Conversion Varnish protects the wood from wine, food and daily use. Some cheaper versions of Conversion varnish on Solid wood sideboards is lacquer.
