Our solid wood breakfast nooks have two types of bases to choose from. There is the trestle style base and then the pedestal style base. An Amish nook set comes in 5 pieces. The first piece is the table which can be in any style and size you need. Then there is the bench piece that breaks up into 3 separate pieces. There are two solid wood bench pieces that back against each wall, which are usually two different sizes. One part of the bench is smaller to surround the width of the table and the other piece is larger to surround the length of the table. The solid hardwood benches are connected by a middle triangular bench piece in the middle which makes up the 3rd part of the bench piece. You may also add Amish solid wood chairs to the opposite side of the table for more seating. Instead of solid wood chairs there is the option of adding an Amish hardwood bench as well.
All of our solid wood breakfast nooks are made from Brown Maple, Cherry, Oak or Quartersawn White Oak. On our entire solid wood breakfast nooks we use two coats of conversion varnish. Our solid wood breakfast nooks have solid tops and do not come with leaves or have the option for leaves. Most of our solid wood nook sets fit to today’s modern solid wood nook specifications. There are many different styles of breakfast nook sets to choose from whether it be Modern, Mission or Shaker.
