Amish Dining Chairs

American Made Dining Chairs, made in the USA by Amish craftsman, custom hand built American furniture for you.

Amishshowroom works with some of the top Amish dining chair craftsmen in Ohio and Indiana.  Amish dining chairs are constructed from solid oak and cherry hardwoods with steam bent wooden chair backs.  The steam bending by Amish builders is a very complex process of steaming wood with hot "steam" from water.  This makes the hardwood soft just like cooking pasta.  The solid hardwoods are bent around a jig used for our Amish dining chairs and allowed to dry. Solid wood dining chairs are built with mortise and tenon wood joints to last a lifetime.

At Amishshowroom we have a multi step conversion varnish topcoat with our private label stains.  Some of our most popular amish stain choices are michaels cherry stain, Asbury brown stain and washington cherry stain.  These stains are all oil based and applied with a spray gun.

Most of our solid wood dining chairs have the seat "scooped" out.  This area has been routered out using various bits to make the wooden amish dining chair seat more comfortable to sit at.  Some of the Amish dining chairs do come with leather or fabric seats.  Amishshowroom offers many shipping options for your solid wood cherry and oak chairs.  Please visit our shipping page for details.

We also can ship our quality hardwood bedroom sets to Bakersfield California for pickup, or we can deliver to your home.

Amish barstools are built to standard industry standards to meet these needs.  The solid wood barstool seat is 24" from the floor. This gives the oak barstools with a wood or leather seat the 12" of knee space needed to work at the countertop height.  When building a solid cherry barstool the Amish builders use all American grown lumber that is harvested in the Midwest by Amish Sawmills.  In order to get the best cherry and quartersawn lumber the Amish woodworkers must have access directly to the best old...
